Soft and sheer, made of feather weight cotton, our Freedom Fighters Block Print Scarves are hand block printed and sewn by women who know what it means to fight for their freedom.

These scarves are made by program participants at the Destiny Foundation in Kolkata, India. Kolkata is home to Asia's largest red light district, Sonagachi, where over 10,000 women have been trafficked or forced by poverty into the brothels. Destiny Foundation was founded with the mission to end slavery and sex trafficking through the economic empowerment of women. When you wear the Freedom Fighters Scarf you make a powerful statement that you stand with the women of Destiny Foundation who have found freedom and that you believe no woman should be trafficked and forced into a life in the brothels - you become a Freedom Fighter!
