Angel from San Pedro la Laguna Handcrafted Guatemalan Ceramic Angel Musician Sculpture

An angel with feathery wings coaxes dulcet notes from a golden lyre. The heavenly musician wears the traditional floral huipil blouse and handwoven skirt of San Pedro la Laguna in Sololá. Monica de Castellanos paints each detail by hand, and signs the lovely figurine with her nickname, 'Moni.'
