Dramatic Pathways Handcrafted Indigo Geometric Batik Cotton Queen Bedspread

Simone Buys of Thailand designs a queen-sized bedspread made of 100% cotton batik fabric with a stunning line and diamond motif. The indigo blue design is created by hand stamping the pattern in wax on the fabric and then dying the fabric by hand. Once the wax resist is removed, the pattern is revealed. The stamping is done by the Hmong Hill Tribe women of Northern Thailand and the fabric is hand dyed by urban artisans with quality synthetic dyes.
