Zandra Lorena Sajbin designs a pendant of extraordinary beauty in honor of Maya astronomy. She crafts the pendant by hand with sterling silver featuring the quetzal bird and a temple over the dark green jade side of the pendant. The light green jade side features a crescent moon. Maya astronomers sought to predict eclipses, which they likened to the galaxy taking a breath and which influenced human's conscience.
