This handsome pair of masks is an original design from Abdul Aziz Mohamadu of Ghana. Both are hand-carved from native sese wood and painted in shades of green, black and brick red. Carved motifs add interesting texture. The artisan names the masks haboki, which means 'friendship' in the Hausa language of Ghana.
