Leafy Memories Batik Rayon Sarong in Black and Blue from Bali

Combining hues of black and blue, this Balinese sarong evokes the memory of a forest at midnight. By Desak Nyoman Parwati, the sarong is woven of rayon, its black body decorated with blue palm tree motifs in the batik style, where a wax resist is stamped onto the fabric before being dyed. A strap with fringes at the neck secures the sarong, which drapes beautifully.
