Oheneyire Hand Crafted Sese Wood and Terracotta Beaded Necklace

Round and oval beads handcrafted from sese wood are interspersed with patterned terracotta beads on nylon cord. Catherine Offei Kwapong of Ghana presents this beaded necklace with a brass S-hook closure, representative of traditional West African beaded jewelry. Oheneyire means 'king's wife' in the Akan language.
