Hand-painted lotus flowers come to life on Desak Nyoman Parwati's lovely knee-length robe. Combining tie-dye and hand stamped batik methods, the Balinese artisan uses magenta, fuchsia, and grass green dyes to paint the vibrant floral motif on soft rayon fabric. A pocket on either side and a matching tie belt provide the finishing touches.
