Prelude Artisan Made Recycled Wood Pendant Necklace from Peru

The guiding principle for Peruvian artisans Antuane and Santos is their desire to give discarded wood a second life so that this material can become more sustainable and eco-friendly. They use reclaimed estoraque wood to craft the sublime pendant of this necklace which hangs from nylon cord and closes with an aluminum s-hook clasp. Four irregularly-shaped pieces of wood are grouped together to form the pendant; these are meant to resemble fallen autumn leaves, whose shape, texture, and often dark color inspired the artisan pair.
