The Jimenez Family of Guatemala crafts these stunning hoop earrings using jade obtained from the foothills of the Sierra de las Minas in Zacapa. Jade has long been associated with the concept of immortality, as its hardness is close to that of a diamond. Here, polished circles of black jade form smooth hoops and are finished with sterling silver accents and saddleback catches.
