Zigzag Paths in Chestnut Zigzag Motif Cotton Cushion Cover in Chestnut from Guatemala

Handwoven of cotton on the foot pedal loom, this exotic cushion cover is decorated with zigzag patterns in daffodil and chili red over a body of sophisticated chestnut. Guatemalan artisan Mirian Otzin designs the cushion cover, working with techniques that were traditionally reserved for men. She completes it with chili-colored tassels at the corners. A slit in the cushion cover's red back allows for the insertion of a cushion.
